Breitbart Throws Down Gauntlet (and Wallet)

I’ve been getting pretty sick of these horseshit accusations of racist and homophobic epitaphs being hurled at last Saturday’s “Kill the Bill” protests being treated as absolute fact by all the idiots at outlets like MSNBC, CNN, and the rest of their broadcasting brethren. I’m also sick of the print media dicks who’ve gotten all righteous–and naval gazing–deploring that politics has “descended to this,” and other such treacly bullshit.

In a day and age where damn near every Jack and Jill runs up the hill with a camera in their pocket, it is un-fucking-possible that these actions happened and nobody caught it and immediately jacked it up onto YouTube.

They all know they are just pumping a modern version of The Big Lie, and Andy Breitbart has had enough of their crap….

It’s “Put up or STFU” time:

If we let them get away with Saturday’s stunt — using the imagery of the Civil Rights era and hurtful lies to cast aspersions upon the tea party whole — then they really will have won the day.

It’s time for the allegedly pristine character of Rep. John Lewis to put up or shut up. Therefore, I am offering $10,000 of my own money to provide hard evidence that the N- word was hurled at him not 15 times, as his colleague reported, but just once. Surely one of those two cameras wielded by members of his entourage will prove his point.

And surely if those cameras did not capture such abhorrence, then someone from the mainstream media — those who printed and broadcast his assertions without any reasonable questioning or investigation — must themselves surely have it on camera. Of course we already know they don’t. If they did, you’d have seen it by now.

Rep. Lewis, if you can’t do that, I’ll give him[sic] a backup plan: a lie detector test. If you provide verifiable video evidence showing that a single racist epithet was hurled as you walked among the tea partiers, or you pass a simple lie detector test, I will provide a $10K check to the United Negro College Fund.

Juicebox Ezra: Liar? Or Just Dumb as a Rock?

He fancies himself as some sort of policy wonk; also someone wired into the DC Insider’s Network™ with a solid grasp of his surrounding environment, but stuff like this leads me to the headline’s question:

…yesterday I argued that one reason to think a constitutional challenge against the individual mandate wouldn’t work was that “the Supreme Court does not like to invalidate important laws passed by Congress.” That was the consensus of most experts I’ve spoken to on the issue. But my colleague Charles Lane, among others, made a convincing case to me that the Roberts court has been uncommonly willing to overturn laws passed by Congress. The most recent example was Citizens United, which invalidated important elements of the McCain-Feingold campaign-finance law.

Now really, who the bloody hell are these “experts” he consulted concerning the SC’s penchant for invalidating ‘important’ law that they failed to remind this charter member of the Juicebox Mafia of their ruling on Citizens United–a decision handed down a mere two months ago, or DC v. Heller, a decision that, literally, affected life in the wee, would-be Wonker’s own back yard?

Either Ezra Klein is fibbing about consulting anyone, and just made that shit up as some sort of cover, or his “experts,” along with Ezra, either: a) suffer from massive A.D.D., or b) are too brain-dead stupid by half to be members of their professions.
