An Inconvenient MSM Truth: You Morons No Longer Control the Narrative

There was a time when media outlets could kill blockbuster stories that threatened to upset their ‘conventional wisdom’ applecarts by simply ignoring them. The best recent example was Dan Rather’s use of fake documents to attempt to sway the 2004 Presidential election, though a case could easily be made that Matt Drudge, back in the “blue dress” day, had already shown these idiots that they could no longer decide what was “news” if a story screwed up their own world view.

You’d think they would have learned by now, yet many of these “gatekeepers” still seem to believe that if they don’t mention something, then their customers won’t know it happened.

That game is ovah!

An hilariously bizarre situation is happening in the wake of the growing Climategate scandal. Many of the mainstream media stories about global warming are simply pretending it doesn’t exist. Perhaps they feel that by ignoring Climategate entirely that it will just go away. Unfortunately for them, the readers of these global warming stories keep bringing up the inconvenient truth of Climategate by mentioning the scandal in the comments section over and over and over again.

An example is this Houston Chronicle editorial which asserts in its headline, “As a crucial climate change conference nears, more evidence of a warming globe.” And as the editorial reveals its “evidence,” note what is conspicuously missing although the readers will bring it up much to the embarrassment of the Chonicle:

via Climategate: MSM Writers Try to Ignore Scandal in Global Warming Stories But Readers Bring Them Back to Reality

On a personal note, I don’t believe there was any “hacker” behind this massive East Anglia data dump. With the big Copenhagen show right around the corner, I think some low level insider who knew all facts about this massive, criminal scam, decided to drop the bomb on their collective heads…. Why else include, besides the damning e-mails, the real smoking gun: all that crazily corrupted code?
