“Steamroller”: A One Term Pony

Bloomberg doesn’t want to be President… He want’s to beat Eliot like Koch tried to beat Coumo, but the difference is, Nanny Bloomy will win.

When Little Eliot was running, it was all “Everything Changes on Day One.” Well, that didn’t happen–it was major grade bullshit, as the decision about who would replace disgraced State Comptroller Alan Hevesi made obvious. Shelly “The Shitheel” Silver, in short order, taught Spitzer who owns the real Albany power.

Immediately following his first Albany debacle came the “Troopergate” fiasco, where Eliot recused his inner sanctum from telling investigators just how much of the Joe Bruno hit attempt splattered on the “Shakedown King of Wall Street.”

Sure, his PR people like the term Eliot “Sheriff,” instead, but when the bad guys can just cut a check and go about their business… well, it’s rather dubious to claim you reined in any alleged “outlaws.”

Eliot Spitzer never “tamed” Wall Street. He did nickel and dime extortion. To this day, he’s never put one of those Wall Street guys behind bars. All he’s done is collect ‘go away’ checks and declared dubious victories, except for one instance… where he got his clock cleaned in a court of LAW… not “PR sheet”.

The Buffalo News: Buffalo/Erie County: Spitzer policy granting licenses to illegal immigrants is coming under increased fire

Gov. Eliot L. Spitzer’s new policy that permits illegal immigrants to obtain New York State driver’s licenses is “an absurd” decision that will provide a new gateway for terrorists, a member of the federal commission that investigated the 2001 World Trade Center attacks warns.

“It’s a perfect formula for al-Qaida. They won’t be able to resist it. They will be able to come to New York,” said John Lehman, a former secretary of the Navy who served on the 9/11 Commission that warned of the nation’s vulnerabilities to terrorist strikes.

Lehman joins a growing number of critics of the new Spitzer policy, including two mayors involved in the recovery of the 9/11 attacks — Rudy Giuliani and Michael R. Bloomberg — and an assortment of law enforcement officials, Republicans and Democrats.

In an interview Saturday with The Buffalo News, Lehman said the state is undermining the many efforts made to improve security in New York City since 2001.

“It is not logical,” he said of the Spitzer policy, adding: “As we know, New York is target number one.”

Sorry maybe five of you guys could even figure out my math, but when I count the nickels, Eliot’s pickled.
