I Broke the Kick Pedal’s Strap

with all this warm weather, we’re “BBQ and break out the amps” this weekend in my backyard. We dragged the amps and drums out of the basement this afternoon and used these tunes for the tuneup….

Lynch… get away from the drumkit!

OK, gimme my GoldTop and let’s play this…. I’ll sing AND YOU’LL STFU…

Yeah, amps still work… throw a tarp over ’em, cover the drums and let’s gets some beer and beef!…. And get that old queen johanson on the phone.

It’s Like They Never Heard of Planes

BREITBART.COM – Congressional Leaders Call on President to Reject Flawed Iraq Troop Surge

The leaders cited the burden on the nation’s already-overtaxed military, the likely failure of a surge strategy to quell the violence, and the dangers of placing American military into the middle of a civil war.

The “overtaxed” stuff, in relation to ground forces, is, at best, arguable. We own the sky; we own the waves; we own whatever we damn well decide, as long as we don’t have to worry about shitbag Senators. But the other two-thirds (Air Force; Navy) haven’t even been in the game lately, and any “surge,” or “escalation,” is gonna involve them bombing someone straight to the Stone Age.
