“The New Edward R.”?

Christ, this reads like a parody:

Mr. Olbermann, addressing President Bush, said: “You instructed no one to mail the fake Anthrax [received by Olbermann], nor undermine the FBI’s case, nor call for the execution of the editors of the New York Times, nor threaten to assassinate Stephanie Miller, nor beat up a man yelling at Senator George Allen, nor have the First Lady knife Michael J. Fox, nor tell John McCain to lie about John Kerry. No, you did not, sir. And the genius of the thing is the same as in King Henry’s rhetorical question about Archbishop Thomas Becket: ‘Who will rid me of this meddlesome priest?’ All you have to do, sir, is hand out enough new canes.”

more here

Two points: 1) Most of the country couldn’t pick Stephie Miller out of a lineup, nevermind waste the time giving her a good healthy smack… fuhgheddoubit delivering a whack

and 2) Does anyone believe Olby has ever read Shakespeare, or anything remotely resembling it, close enough to quote such “rid me” prose?

That was an intern who delivered that little bit of his script.

And she had to explain it.

“Of course Americans should vote Democrat,” Jihad Jaara, a senior member of the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades terror group and the infamous leader of the 2002 siege of Bethlehem’s Church of the Nativity, told WND.

Muhammad Saadi, a senior leader of Islamic Jihad in the northern West Bank town of Jenin, said the Democrats’ talk of withdrawal from Iraq makes him feel “proud.”

“As Arabs and Muslims we feel proud of this talk,” he told WND. “Very proud from the great successes of the Iraqi resistance. This success that brought the big superpower of the world to discuss a possible withdrawal.”

Abu Abdullah, a leader of Hamas’ military wing in the Gaza Strip, said the policy of withdrawal “proves the strategy of the resistance is the right strategy against the occupation.”

The Democrat Party’s rhetoric has been so stridently anti-“anything to do with Bush’s war” that bastards like this now have openly stated they have A Rooting Interest in America’s mid-term elections.

Seeing the Dems succeed to Congressional majority, as these dirtbags freely admit, plays straight into every jihadist’s wet dream.

Withdraw/Redeploy=”THE AMERICANS QUIT!”

Another Bullet in the Old Gray Lady’s Ass

Wait a minute… this can’t possibly be true; I thought Iraq was WMD free? I thought they weren’t neck deep in such things, instead content to fly kites and play with their pet bunnies, and overturning Hussein’s regime because of exactly this kind of thing was the evil lie promoted by BushHitlerburton…

The documents, roughly a dozen in number, contain charts, diagrams, equations and lengthy narratives about bomb building that nuclear experts who have viewed them say go beyond what is available elsewhere on the Internet and in other public forums. For instance, the papers give detailed information on how to build nuclear firing circuits and triggering explosives, as well as the radioactive cores of atom bombs.

Well now, I wonder how the BDS crowd are gonna spin this bit of news. They’ll probably go for “See? The Rethuglicans are so stupid they released vital nuclear secrets for the entire world to view! They spoon fed Iran the means to make a nuke! They made us unsafe!
UPDATE: Bingo!

Whether the Moonbats and the blind editors at the Times realize it or not, this is not the kind of “November Surprise” they thought it would be; it’s quite the opposite. As TigerHawk puts it:

So, the New York Times is quoting “experts,” apparently approvingly, who say that Saddam Hussein was as little as a year away from building an atom bomb. This is offered in support of the proposition that the Bush administration acted recklessly when it published captured Iraqi documents that describe that country’s WMD programs, because those documents might be used by any other lame-o country to build WMD.

Wait a minute. Iraq had WMD programs?!? Iraq was “on the verge of building an atom bomb, as little as a year away”? You’re ‘shittin’ me! And here I thought Bush lied.

Seems that the New York Times owes Judith Miller an apology. Or at least a hat tip.

As the PuppyBlender would say: Indeed. By launching this pre-election story, the Old Gray Lady, in its mindless assault on all things Republican, has just cut the legs out from under that whole “Bush Lied; People Died” meme. It destroys the notion that Iraq wasn’t working furiously to develop WMDs, but also legitimizes many other things. Capt. Ed:

Over the past year or so, I have provided CQ readers with a number of translations from key Iraqi Intelligence Service documents that have been translated by either the FMSO or by Joseph Shahda of the Free Republic website. I even engaged two interpreters to verify one particularly explosive memo last April, after Shahda published his own translation. That memo dealt with IIS plans to get volunteers for suicide missions to ‘strike American interests”.

One particular criticism that appeared with each new translation was that the documents were never proven genuine, although no one could explain the logic behind the US government hiding these documents in Iraqi Arabic among an avalanche of mundanity, only to shove it onto a shelf for years until Congress authorized their release to the Internet. Now we find another verification of their authenticity, this time from the New York Times, which reports today that the documents constitute a national-security threat…..

The Times has just authenticated the entire collection of memos, some of which give very detailed accounts of Iraqi ties to terrorist organizations. Just this past Monday, I posted a memo which showed that the Saddam regime actively coordinated with Palestinian terrorists in the PFLP as well as Hamas and Islamic Jihad. On September 20th, I reposted a translation of an IIS memo written four days after 9/11 that worried the US would discover Iraq’s ties to Osama bin Laden.

This sure has been an interesting week. At the beginning, we had Kerry letting his contempt for America’s Armed Forces drip from his lips, and try to explain it an ill-worded slip. Now we have the Times–the freakin’ Times!–releasing a story that shows Iraq was working on (grain of salt) advanced nuclear weaponry, and also validates the documents Capt. Ed and his crew have translated, that ties Hussien to Al Qaeda. All while the Dems are using Iraq as their big hammer to show why Bush and his Republican brethren have gotten everything wrong….

Rove, you Magnificent Bastard!
