MSM: Old, Busted, but Still Deserving of a Beating and a Sharp Stick in the Eye

When the President gave his speech to the feckless UN General Assembly, much was made by all the major media outlets about the anti-Bush/War protests going on outside at the same time, which resulted in over a dozen arrests. But when that greasy little bastard from Iran was talking, they damn near ALL seemed to have missed 35000 people standing across the street telling Achmawhachamaccalit to pound sand. Did you know that, during the Iraq war, the Bronze Star has been awarded 38,000 times for American GIs’ actions well above the expected performance of duty?

Not all of these medals were earned for unusual bravery, but let’s assume at least 1,000 of our troops demonstrated rare and unselfish courage to earn the Bronze Star. That would be 1,000 stories of American heroics. That would be 1,000 stories hardly told.

They’re not anti-Bush; they’re just anti-anything that makes him, or the US Military, look good, and his–and this country’s–enemies look like pariahs.
