Batshit Insanity

I thought the histrionics over “Turkeygate” was nutty, but this… this tops it all:

Can I see a show of hands? Who would like to slap the taste out of Gail Collins’ mouth?

NY Times Moron: Bush Should Resign Now

She wants Bush AND Cheney to resign, leaving the Commonweal in the hands of Nancy Pelosi, who will of course be a trusted steward to NOT fuck everything up before the Messiah’s Jan. 20, 2009, ascension…

hen House Speaker Nancy Pelosi would become president until Jan. 20. Obviously, she’d defer to her party’s incoming chief executive, and Barack Obama could begin governing.

As a bonus, the Pelosi presidency would put a woman in the White House this year after all. On the downside, a few right-wing talk-show hosts might succumb to apoplexy.

Hey, Toots? People who have never listened to Limbaugh, Hannity, or any of those guys–including guys from your side–would be scared witless by this kind of bullshit.

The Palin turkey pardon? Watched it five times. Still don't understand what the big deal is. In fact, I don't understand why they keep calling the clip “graphic”.

As for the NYT article, after reading it, I got the sense that she was just trying to over-indulge herself in the whole “BUSH=BAD/OBAMA=GOOD” narrative that's serving as a substitute for news these days.

I get wanting Bush to be history, but I'm not sure I understand the hysteria about NEEDING Barky in there so urgently. Even if she's far-left, most of them are quite annoyed about some of the Clintonesque appointments the Barkster's made, of late.

Take it from me, it doesn't take much for them to be annoyed about something.

Neither does Barky. I notice that Biden didn't walk away from his US Senate seat, and so is still on the hook to vote for stuff.

Not The One. Now, he's no longer accountable. until he's sworn in.
