I’ve switched my search bar to Dogpile. And I’m gonna do the same to every fucking machine I am Lord Almighty in running, both at home and at every customer’s shop.

nice link. Yeah, Google can find the most trivial holiday and commemorate it, but September 11? Veterans Day? Memorial Day? They are such bastards, I agree.
as of right now (Friday, 12:43PM) I've flipped 37 machines so their browser toolbar search slot defaults to Dogpile, and locked them down so they can't be re-configged.
When asked why I was doing it, I told the client, “there's a nasty bug that drops bad stuff into your system whenever you use that thing. If I don't change it, you'll be calling me in to clean your machines at least twice a week. Trust me, this is the only way to go unless Google gets their act together.”
Client: “Oh; OK.”
Idiots… I make my living dealing with idiots.
When I'm done, the number will be (roughly) 144 machines, which in the grand scheme of things doesn't mean diddly, but stil….
Fuck those clowns.
