Code Pink: “It’s About the Children!”

I can’t imagine what the average Berkeley student would think about this, but I’d imagine my indignation level would go straight to eleven to have someone talking about me like this:

“We are so shocked and horrified that the Marines have come to Berkeley to prey on our children,” said Zanne Joi, a Code Pink member.

Children. Berkeley is considered one of, if not the premier, outposts of the UC system, yet, according to the Code Pink crew, these students–an overwhelming majority of whom I imagine are not retarded, and of majority age, are to be viewed as poor, manipulable little snowflakes, wont to be easily conned by guys wearing uniforms… and just how many ‘kids’ on that campus are actually the spawn of Code Pink members that they feel comfortable calling them “our” children? How many are even from Berkeley?
