I find this whole “illegal immigration” debate to be without merit.
We put those who choose to prosecute and put away those people who might hold the job title of “Illegal Transportation Appropriation Engineers” for “Grand Theft Auto.” We put those folks known as “Illegal Evening Wealth Distribution Specialists” away for Breaking/entering and burglary. We hold the line at those who would be “Illegal Adult Entertainers” and pull them in for solicitation.
Why is it that we have such a hard time understanding that immigration policy is nothing more than a set of laws? When you fail to comply with them…that makes you a criminal.
Now what I do take issue with is those businesses that would employ illegals….those “activist” organizations that would choose to provide them sanctuary and be apologists for their illegal actions. Take away the incentives (jobs and benefits) and there’s no reason for any unskilled residents from South of the Border to try and brave a two week stroll across our porous border.
This doesn’t absolve the federal governments from ensuring the integrity of our borders…but it sure seems to put a huge dent in the “will” of those that would like to take advantage of our system.
At the same time, we could start “cleaning house” for those drawing SSI because they had decent representation. Being a drunk, addict or crazy bastard doesn’t give you a free ride. At least not on my watch.

Why do sizable numbers of your ilk believe that importation of cheap laborers and indentured servants in order to destroy organized labor , displace the American worker, and allow foreign domination of our industries, makes ignoring these very laws worth it in the long run?

First off, illegals don’t generally collect Social Security-based programs, because your eligibility is determined precisely on whether you’ve participated in the system, and your status in this country.
Secondly, if someone has any of these issues and legitimately, honestly, qualifies to receive money from these programs (and I am fairly certain the number of illegals doing so is miniscule), what fucking business is it of yours? Who the fuck gave you the right to get in the personal business of Americans, their infirmities, or their finances? Maybe you need to start worrying what YOU have stolen from the coffers of this country, Mr. “Private Contractor”. Mr. “Useless In Any War”.
