In hindsight, I really wish we had thought this one through a bit better before kicking it off. I still maintain that our senior military leaders never thought we’d be able to fight in that region in the summer. Guess nearly 5 rotations have proved them wrong at this point…

This is in NO WAY shakes my faith in the military…or their ability to get the job done. All I’m saying is that I wish it was as simple as “killing them all and letting God sort it out.” Perhaps if they’d come out and fight like men…rather than hide behind the skirts of old women, we could get something done.

The AP reports on the anti-American protest today as if it’s a countrywide thing put together by all sides inside Iraq: BAGHDAD – Tens of thousands draped themselves in Iraqi flags and marched peacefully through the streets of two Shiite…
